Ruth Davidson is a Scottish politician, currently leader of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party and Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Glasgow regional list. After graduating from Edinburgh University, she worked as a BBC journalist and signaller in the Territorial Army. Ruth left the BBC in 2009 to study at Glasgow University before pursuing a career in politics.
