Roxana Bratu – The Future of Crime

Roxana is finishing her PhD in the Sociology Department at London School of Economics and Political Science. Her interests are close to Criminology and Sociology of Crime. She has extensive experience in studying crime at national and trans-national levels, focusing on organized crime, corruption, trafficking in human beings and money laundering. Her ethnographic fieldwork in Romania has put her on both sides of the legality. When not studying crime and entrepreneurship, Roxana likes running. As she enjoys a good challenge, she decided to run the Virgin London Marathon in 2012 to raise money for charity in order to support international students in higher education.
